The Encore 700 is one of the most widely deployed retail dispensers in the United States, which makes it the platform theft crews have the most practice on. When a technique works on one, it works on thousands of sites nationwide — and the cases in our news coverage show crews running routes of 15 and 70 locations at a time.
The industry response has come in layers. Gilbarco offers an encrypted pulser that protects the metering signal itself. Cabinet door security aims to keep the door shut in the first place. Our product is a third, independent layer that assumes both of those can fail.
None of them replaces the others. If you can do all three, do all three. If you are starting with one, start with the one that carries no ongoing cost and does not depend on anything electronic continuing to work.

Encore 700 fitment questions
How do I tell which Encore 700 configuration I have?
If you are not sure, put your best guess on the quote form. Your JF technician services these units and confirms the configuration on site before anything ships.
Do I need one per dispenser or one per fueling position?
It depends on the configuration — a dual-sided unit is not the same count as two single-sided units. Your branch will scope it from your actual site layout rather than a guess off a spreadsheet.
Can it be removed for service?
Yes. A JF technician can remove and refit it as part of normal service work. It is a security measure, not a permanent seal.
Does it fit Encore 500 or Encore 300?
Not currently. We build for the Encore 700 family. If you run a mixed fleet, say so on the quote form and we will tell you plainly what we can and cannot help with.
